With the faceted bulb design each set gives off an even glow of light for a softer, subtle appearance. Christmas Designers' Gold Series lights are one grade lower than our Platinum Series. The Gold Series lights incorporate all the high quality features of the Platinum Series except the gauge of cord is 22 instead of 20 gauge and the connections are standard end to end Edison style plugs rather than the water tight screw connections that can be found in our Platinum line.
