Christmas Designers, Inc. respects the privacy of its online visitors. We do not collect personal information at our site unless it is provided to us, voluntarily and knowingly. Basic Confidentiality Policy
It is our policy that your personal information, such as name, postal and e-mail address, or telephone number, be kept private and confidential. Accordingly, the personal information you provide is stored in a secure location, which is accessible only by designated staff, and is used only for the purposes for which you provided the information. We maintain the data as a regular customer service record, just as if you had called or written for information on our products, pricing or to request a catalog.
No Release of Information to Third Parties
Your personal information is used only for internal purposes by our technical support staff. It will not be released to third parties, except to further the purpose for which you provide the information. For example, if a product or catalog requires shipping we must share your name and address with our shipping company for action, but we limit such third parties in their access and use of personal information. In addition, we must release your personal information if it is required by law or is pertinent to judicial or governmental investigations or proceedings. There are no other circumstances under which we will provide, sell or otherwise transfer personal information to unaffiliated third parties.
No Computer Tracking of Identifiable Information
Our computer is not set up to track, collect or distribute personal information about our Web site visitors. It does recognize the home server of visitors, but not the e-mail addresses. For example, we can tell which Internet service providers our visitors use, but we do not retrieve names, addresses or other information that would allow us to identify the particular visitors to our sites. This information is used only for internal purposes by Christmas Designer's technical support staff. In addition, our Web site tracks information about the visits to our Web sites. For example, we compile statistics that show the daily number of visitors to our sites, the daily requests we receive for particular files on our Web sites, and which countries issue those requests. These aggregated statistics are used internally to better provide services to the public, but they do not contain personal information and cannot be used to gather such information.
