Christmas Designers Warranty Policy

All product warranties are only valid for the original purchaser and is non-transferable to another party. Product returns within the warranty period must first be approved by Christmas Designers. Once the warranty return has been shipped back, it will be inspected to determine if it falls under the warranty coverage. The product will then be repaired or replaced at Christmas Designers discretion. Please note, Christmas Designers can take up to 72 business hours after receiving the product at the warehouse, to inspect items and get a replacement sent out to the customer. A refund is not offered for warranty returns. Replacement product or a store credit are offered at Christmas Designers’ discretion. In the event that an item cannot be repaired or replaced, then a product credit will be offered that can be used for future purchases.

If the product was purchased within the last 60 days, Christmas Designers will issue a FedEx return label. If the product was purchased more than 60 days prior, the customer must cover shipping costs.

Christmas Designers warranties only cover product repair, or replacement, and does not cover any labor or other expenses involved with the installation, service or removal of items purchased from us.

Christmas Designers warranties do not cover products that have been subject to normal wear and tear, vandalism, accident, neglect, abuse, misuse, Acts of God, or used for something other than their intended purpose. Any modification to the product will void the warranty.

Specific product warranties by product category are outlined below.

LED Christmas Lights and Replacement Bulbs

Consumer and Commercial Customer LED Christmas Light/Bulb Warranty: Christmas Designers’ LED Christmas lights and bulbs come with a 3 Season Limited Warranty. Christmas Designers warrants to the original buyer for 3 seasons that our LED Christmas lights will be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal conditions of use.

This limited warranty does not cover LED light sets and bulbs that are subject to normal wear and tear, accident, neglect, abuse, misuse or acts of God. Warranty is void if the lights/bulbs are used beyond normal seasonal usage, which is defined by Underwriters Laboratory as 90 days or less per calendar year. Using the light set/bulbs with voltage higher than 130 volts will void the warranty.

It is recommended to change the fuse on the Christmas Light Sets prior to sending back to Christmas Designers.

Light sets/bulbs that are used within 1 mile of the ocean, Christmas Designers will warranty the product for 1 season of 90 days or less usage. Due to the corrosive effects of saltwater, the standard warranty does not apply.

The product will be checked by our warranty department and if the product is found to qualify for a warranty claim, a replacement product will be sent to the customer at no cost.

Wholesale and Dealer Customer LED Christmas Light Warranty: Christmas Designers’ LED Christmas lights come with a 3 Season Limited Warranty. Christmas Designers warrants for 3 seasons, under normal conditions of use, that our LED Christmas lights will be free from defects in material and workmanship. If a failure in the light set occurs due to defects in material and workmanship, Christmas Designers will offer a store credit for the remaining life of the light set based on the warranty period of 3 seasons. The credit amount is based on the year marking of the light set. The year can be found on the rectifier next to the plug. Use the chart below to determine the credit amount based on the age of the light set.

100% replacement value until Jan 1, 2021
50% replacement value between Jan 2, 2021 and Jan 1, 2022
25% replacement value between Jan 2, 2022 and Jan 1, 2023

This limited warranty does not cover LED light sets that are subject to normal wear and tear, accident, neglect, abuse, misuse or acts of God. Light sets that are used within 1 mile of the ocean, Christmas Designers will warranty the product for 1 season of 90 days use or less. Due to the corrosive effects of saltwater, the standard warranty does not apply.

For any warranty claims past 60 days, the product must be sent back to Christmas Designers at the customer’s expense. The product will be checked by our warranty department and if the product is found to qualify for a warranty claim, a replacement product will be sent to the customer at no cost.

Twinkly Home and Twinkly Pro

Christmas Designers’ Twinkly Home and Pro lights and controllers come with a 1-year warranty. Christmas Designers warrants to the original buyer for 1 years under normal conditions of use, that our Twinkly Home lights and controllers will be free from defects in material and workmanship.

This limited warranty does not cover Twinkly Home or Pro lights and controllers that are subject to normal wear and tear, accident, neglect, abuse, misuse or acts of God. Warranty is void if the light set or controller is modified in any way beyond the original design created by the manufacture. Using the light set with voltages higher than 130 volts will void the warranty. Warranty is only valid for the original purchaser and is non-transferable.

It is recommended to troubleshoot Twinkly Pro lights and controllers with a Christmas Designers Twinkly Specialist prior to requesting an RMA. Technical Support is included in the one-year warranty on these products however, an order number must be provided prior to speaking with our Specialists.

Light sets that are used within 1 miles of the ocean, Christmas Designers will warranty the product for 60 days. This is due to the corrosive effects of saltwater.

Twinkly Trees

Christmas Designers’ Twinkly Commercial Trees Limited Warranty covers both the lights and the frames. For the specifics of each part please see below.

Twinkly Commercial Tree lights and controllers are covered under a 4-Season Limited Warranty. The warranty does not include normal wear and tear, vandalism, accidents, damages from Acts of God "includes winds over 65 MPH", UV Fading, visible rust, improper set up or improper storage. Modifying the lights or controllers in any way will void this warranty.

Twinkly Commercial Tree Frames and Branches are covered under a 7-Season Limited warranty. The warranty covers the frames and branches for 7 holiday seasons. The warranty does not include normal wear and tear, vandalism, accidents, damage from Acts of God "includes winds over 65 MPH", UV fading, improper setup, or improper storage. Modifying the tree in any way or adding a tree topper not provided by Christmas Designers, will void the warranty. Seasonal usage cannot exceed 75 days per year between the months of November and January. Outdoor storage of the tree or components will void the warranty.

For failure on light sets or controllers, replacement controllers and light sets will be provided along with simple replacement instructions. Labor or labor reimbursement is not provided on light sets and electrical components. Troubleshooting the issue with our Illumination Engineer is recommended before submitting an RMA for replacement parts.

Trees that are used within 1 mile of the ocean, Christmas Designers will warranty the lights and harness for 2 seasons. The frame will have a limited warranty of 5 seasons.

Video documentation is required for all components of the Twinkly trees, in order to submit a claim. If video is inconclusive, shipping back to Christmas Designers will be required at the customer’s expense in order for warranty claim to be completed.

LED Snowflakes, Spheres, Tree of Lights and Spiral Trees

Christmas Designers’ Christmas LED Snowflakes, Spheres, Light Show Trees and Spiral Trees come with a 2 Season Limited Warranty. Christmas Designers warrants to the original buyer for 2 seasons, under normal conditions of use, that our LED Snowflakes, Spheres, Light Show Trees and Spiral Trees will be free from defects in material and workmanship.

This limited warranty does not cover products that are subject to normal wear and tear, vandalism, accidents, neglect, abuse, misuse or acts of God. Warranty is void if the bulbs are used beyond normal seasonal usage, which is defined by Underwriters Laboratory as 90 days or less per calendar year. Using the bulbs with voltage higher than 130 volts will void the warranty.

LED Snowflakes, Spheres, Light Show Trees and Spiral Trees that are used within 1 miles of the ocean, Christmas Designers will warranty the product for 1 season of 90 days or less usage. Due to the corrosive effects of saltwater, the standard warranty does not apply.

The product will be checked by our warranty department and if the product is found to qualify for a warranty claim, a replacement product will be sent to the customer at no cost.

Moravian Stars

Christmas Designers’ Christmas Moravian Stars come with a 45 Day Limited Warranty. Christmas Designers warrants to the original buyer for 45 days, under normal conditions of use, that our Moravian Stars will be free from defects in material and workmanship.

This limited warranty does not cover Moravian Stars that are subject to normal wear and tear, accident, neglect, abuse, misuse or acts of God.

Moravian Stars that are used within 1 miles of the ocean, Christmas Designers warranty will be voided. Due to the corrosive effects of saltwater, the standard warranty does not apply to this product.

The product will be checked by our warranty department and if the product is found to qualify for a warranty claim, a replacement product will be sent to the customer at no cost.

Christmas Greenery

Christmas Designers’ Christmas wreaths, garlands, sprays and trees under 12’ come with a 3 Season Limited Warranty. Christmas Designers warrants to the original buyer for 3 seasons, under normal conditions of use, that our wreaths, garlands, sprays and trees under 12’ will be free from defects in material and workmanship.

For failure on light sets or electrical components, replacement components and light sets will be provided. Labor or labor reimbursement is not provided on light sets and electrical components.

This limited warranty does not cover wreaths, garlands and sprays that are subject to normal wear and tear, accident, neglect, abuse, misuse or acts of God. Warranty is void if the bulbs are used beyond normal seasonal usage, which is defined by Underwriters Laboratory as 90 days or less per calendar year. Using the bulbs with voltage higher than 130 volts will void the warranty. Warranty is only valid for original purchaser and is non-transferable.

Greenery that is used within 1 miles of the ocean, Christmas Designers will warranty the product for 1 season of 90 days or less usage. Due to the corrosive effects of saltwater, the standard warranty does not apply.

Pre-Decorated Christmas Greenery

Christmas Designers warranties our Pre-Decorated Greenery for up to a 5 Season Limited Warranty on the greenery and lights with a 2 Season Limited warranty on the ornaments and bow. Christmas Designers warrants to the original buyer, under normal conditions of use, that our Pre-Decorated wreaths, garlands, sprays and trees under 12’ will be free from defects in material and workmanship.

This limited warranty does not cover pre-decorated wreaths, garlands and sprays that are subject to normal wear and tear, accident, neglect, abuse, misuse or acts of God. Fading can occur due to geographical area conditions and up to a 30% fade is considered normal which will not be covered under this limited warranty. Warranty is void if the bulbs are used beyond normal seasonal usage, which is defined by Underwriters Laboratory as 90 days or less per calendar year. Using the bulbs with voltage higher than 130 volts will void the warranty. Warranty is only valid for the original purchaser and is non-transferable.

For failure on light sets, or other electrical components, replacement components and/or light sets will be provided to the customer. For fading ornaments or bows over the 30%, the customer will be provided with replacement components. Labor or labor reimbursement are not provided on light sets, electrical components, ornaments or bows.

Christmas Designers Bows & Ornaments

Christmas Designers’ bows and ornaments come with a 2 Season Limited Warranty. Christmas Designers warrants to the original buyer for 2 seasons, under normal conditions of use, that our bows will be free from defects in material and workmanship.

This limited warranty does not cover bows and ornaments that are subject to normal wear and tear, accident, neglect, abuse, accidents, misuse or acts of God. Warranty is void if the bow is used beyond normal seasonal usage, which is 90 days or less per calendar year.

This limited warranty does not cover color fade for non-UV treated bows and ornaments. Bows and ornaments that are used within 1 miles of the ocean, Christmas Designers will warranty the product for 1 season of 90 days or less usage. Due to the corrosive effects of saltwater, the standard warranty does not apply.

The product will be checked by our warranty department and if the product is found to qualify for a warranty claim, a replacement product will be sent to the customer at no cost.

Commercial Christmas LED Displays

Christmas Designers’ commercial Christmas LED displays come with a 5 Year Limited Warranty that covers the frame, electrical components and light sets for 5 holiday seasons. The warranty does not include normal wear and tear, vandalism, accidents, damage from Acts of God "includes winds over 65 MPH", UV fading, visible rust, improper setup, or improper storage. Modifying the display in any way, will void the warranty. Seasonal usage cannot exceed 75 days per year between the months of November and January. Outdoor storage of the display or components will void the warranty.

For failure on light sets or electrical components, replacement components and light sets will be provided along with simple replacement instructions. Labor or labor reimbursement is not provided on light sets and electrical components.

For displays that are used within 1 mile of the ocean, Christmas Designers will warranty the lights and electrical components for 2 seasons. The frame will have a limited warranty of 3 seasons.

Video documentation is required for warranty claims. If video is inconclusive, shipping back to Christmas Designers will be required at the customer’s expense in order for warranty claim to be completed.

Commercial Christmas Trees

Christmas Designers’ commercial Christmas Trees come with a 7 Year Limited Warranty that covers the frame, and branches for 7 holiday seasons. Christmas Designers' Commercial Tree comes with a 5 Year Warranty that covers light sets and electrical components for 5 holiday seasons. The warranty does not include normal wear and tear, vandalism, accidents, damage from Acts of God "includes winds over 65 MPH", UV fading, visible rust, improper setup, or improper storage. Modifying the tree in any way or adding a tree topper not provided by Christmas Designers, will void the warranty. Seasonal usage cannot exceed 75 days per year between the months of November and January. Outdoor storage of the tree or components will void the warranty.

For trees that are used within 1 mile of the ocean, Christmas Designers will warranty the lights and harness for 2 seasons. The frame will have a limited warranty of 5 seasons.

Video documentation is required for frame and branch warranty claims. If video is inconclusive, shipping back to Christmas Designers will be required at the customer’s expense in order for warranty claim to be completed.

Domestically Fabricated Displays

Christmas Designers’ Domestically Fabricated Displays come with a 5-season warranty. Christmas Designers warrants to the original buyer 5 seasons, under normal conditions of use, that our products will be free from defects in material and workmanship. The warranty does not include normal wear and tear, vandalism, accidents, damage from Acts of God "includes winds over 65 MPH", UV fading, improper setup, or improper storage.

The warranty for these products is limited to replacement or repair only at the option of Christmas Designers if any part is found to be defective. Any mishandling, modification, burnouts or electrical damaged caused by the installer will not be covered under this warranty.

Animated controllers that come with some of the displays are covered for a 3-season warranty.

Consumer Grade Products

Christmas Designers’ Consumer Grade products are designed for average residential usage and are not rated for commercial Christmas lighting and decorating applications. Christmas Designers offers a limited warranty on Consumer Grade products for 90 days of total usage within 1 year from date of purchase.

This limited warranty does not cover products that are subject to normal wear and tear, accident, neglect, abuse, misuse or acts of God. Warranty is void if the bulbs are used beyond normal seasonal usage, which is defined by Underwriters Laboratory as 90 days or less per calendar year. Using the bulbs with voltage higher than 130 volts will void the warranty. Warranty is only valid for original purchaser and is non-transferable.

Consumer Grade Products that are used within 1 miles of the ocean, Christmas Designers warranty will be voided. Due to the corrosive effects of saltwater, the standard warranty does not apply to this product.

Electrical Supplies, Hardware, Timers, Accessories, Custom Made Items and Sale Items
